Ex-Reedley gang member says he was told of killings by suspects - Top Stories - fresnobee.com: "former Reedley gang member testified Monday in Fresno County Superior Court that two gang associates told him that they participated in the shooting deaths of two rivals in April 2009 -- conversations that the witness secretly recorded for law enforcement.
Cesar Garcia's testimony at the preliminary hearing for Hector Trejo and Manuel Villanueva helped persuade Judge Wayne Ellison to order the two men to stand trial on charges of murder. The judge also said the two men could face the death penalty because it was a double murder for the benefit of the Vario East Side Reedley criminal street gang.
Prosecutors, however, have not yet decided whether to seek the death penalty."
